Analysis of Requirements

One of the most important things to do before you start buying or changing your computer hardware, software and networks is to completely understand what you are trying to do. In other words, what can you NOT do now that requires you to make some change so that you CAN do something in the future.

Without a complete understanding of what you are trying to do (the "requirements"), you can end up buying or changing something that you do not need to change, and end up wasting time and incurring unneeded expense.

For large companies, detailed analysis for complex changes can take a lot of time and energy. For small or home offices, I have the experience to do the required analysis to arrive at your essential requirements relatively quickly.

Once you know what you want to do, the next step is to develop your target Architecture.
